Heli Europe, a subsidiary of the billion-dollar company Heli China, has signed a long-term lease for approximately 11,120 square meters of logistics space in Friedberg, located at Grüner Weg 14. This facility includes 9,344 square meters of hall space as well as 1,776 square meters designated for office and social areas, serving as the new headquarters and a research and development center. The landlord for this property is Gutperle & Tekath Real Estate GmbH from Viernheim, with Colliers successfully facilitating the lease agreement. Jack Zhu, Head of Sales at Heli Europe, stated, “We are very happy to have chosen Friedberg as the location for our new headquarters and research and development center. The support from local politics and business associations has been excellent. We look forward to advancing our forklift innovations from here and strengthening our presence in Europe.” Vincent Tekath, Managing Director of Gutperle & Tekath Real Estate GmbH, commented, “We are pleased with the successful completion of the lease agreement. The quick turnaround of just four weeks from the first viewing to contract signing demonstrates the commitment and dynamism of all involved.
